Fight for Individuals with Substance Use Disorders.
Millions of individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) do not get the care they need. To address that, members of the House and Senate have introduced the Opioid Workforce Act of 2019 (H.R. 3414/S.2892).
This bipartisan legislation would help patients access care by increasing Medicare support for GME and adding 1,000 training positions in addiction medicine, addiction psychiatry, or pain medicine.
It’s time to speak out on behalf of individuals with substance use disorders. Send a message to your members of Congress now and tell them: Pass the Opioid Workforce Act of 2019.
